ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
Aims
At Acer Design, we are going to take the initiative to promote greater environmental responsibility in the process of design and development, aimed at as little an impact as possible from the final product.
We will seek to ensure in our design strategy that all components of the product have a life span and quality, sensibly taking a distance from the throwaway culture. In several areas we can talk with the customer about a life-long course of usage.
The Environment Principle for the customer
Acer Design wants, starting with our environmental strategy, to coach the client through our certified multi-phase project management tool in order to optimize the product for each market and ensure that the customer's environmental profile is respected, at least, but even improved through the new product concept. Acer Design will help with directions for environmental certification and ensure that the costumer can market himself as a responsible company, in addition to displaying environmental responsibility.
ISO certificate and the environment: ISO 9001
Our ISO certificate describes our services as follows:
Design and concept development, project management, task completion and implementation of sustainable solutions for design-related product development and communication tasks.
Proposal submitted to the manufacturer / customer in connection with the multi-phase plan
The following components can be presented in conjunction with the project management tool:
- Introduction of an environmental certificate and a global environmental management system as well as an implementation of environmentally sound technologies
- A close and clearly described collaboration with suppliers in order to achieve a more environmentally friendly utilization of the techniques / resources used: Supply Chain Management
- Integrating sustainability into business activities through tight environmental control. This can be based on established global standards
- Description of the guidelines, local business agreements, trade associations, networks and global initiatives.
